The things we usually perceive as problems are, in truth, opportunities for growth. Crises and difficult situations in life are like doorways to the unconscious: they are the keys to our transformation.

Aloha and Welcome!

Alexis ‘Amardeepa’ Kohn, LCSW

Aloha, my name is Amardeepa and I am a Hawaii licensed therapist in Haiku located on the North Shore of Maui, Hawaii. My life’s work and passion is to empower my clients to activate their potential and initiate positive changes in their lives. My personal therapeutic journey has taken me to various countries, engaging in healing practices and the study of ancient/eastern wisdoms (from the Himalayas with Tibetan monks and Indian masters to the jungles of Brazil). Through my participation in numerous self-development therapies, groups and workshops I’ve experienced the great value in working on oneself with a trusted and knowledgeable professional. My love of therapy lies in its power and potential to change lives. Let’s work together to release the beliefs, habits and patterns that no longer serve you, so you can manifest greater fulfillment, meaning & purpose in your life. I would be happy to accompany you on your journey towards uncovering who you truly are!

The Core Values I use while walking the path of personal transformation with my clients are:

Honesty

Expressing yourself openly allows you to go beyond what isn’t working in your life and move towards uncovering the real you.

Responsibility

Taking self-responsibility of your feelings and actions empowers you to look for positive solutions and take ownership over your life.

Compassion

It’s important to acknowledge your suffering and choose to be kind and gentle with yourself.

Courage

Facing your fears and discomforts while trusting that positive change is possible, takes courage.

Commitment

The path to healing requires your time, energy and focus (while not always easy) the benefits and rewards are well worth it!
